As part of a National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy Scheme (NDEPS), the Federal Government of Nigeria has recently, yesterday to be precise, launched a Digital Nigeria Portal and Mobile Application.

The development was launched by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantemi in Abuja. The platforms partnered with the African Development Bank and Microsoft to help Nigerians acquire digital skills right within their homes.

The Minister disclosed that there is a current paradigm shift from degrees to skills and the government is currently responding to that clime by providing digital literacy skills.

The app, Digital Nigeria is currently available on the app stores and available for download and students can also download their certificates after completing the courses.
