The Nigerian Police Force has paraded a total of seventeen suspects arrested in different parts of the country, including Kano, Bauchi, Rivers and Nasarawa states, for crimes relating to examination malpractices and fraud.
The Police Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, during the parade says the arrests were made possible due to the collaboration between the Nigerian Police and the West African Examination Council, WAEC.
Mba also noted that a bulk of the suspects were serving teachers and even a principal in secondary schools across the country.
He, however, sounded a note of warning to teachers, parents and students who intend to indulge in the act, that technologies have already been deployed to ensure that those culpable are apprehended.
