Around 20,000 fans will be allowed to the Eifel Grand Prix scheduled for Germany in October according to those familiar with the event.
The race which will take place on October 11 at the Nurburgring track north of Cologne, will be the first time the track will host a Grand Prix since 2013.
The Arena, which accommodates more than 100,000 fans will have a reduced capacity, as a result of the global pandemic.
Organizers said the grandstands will be divided into individual sections, as there will be designated seats to observe social distancing protocols.
On Monday, more than 900 cases of coronavirus were recorded in Germany. The country has recorded 9,400 deaths since the global outbreak in March.
