The Defence Headquarters, DHQ, has assured Nigerians that the re-emerge terror group, Darussalam, will be exterminated in no distant time.
The coordinator of the Defence Media Organization, DMO, Major General John Enenche, gave the assurance while briefing journalists on the successes recorded by the Nigerian Armed Forces in its various clearance operations currently going on in the different zones in the country.
Enenche disclosed that between the tenth and seventeenth of September, its various clearance operations have recorded major strides in the neutralization of bandits, kidnappers, Boko haram and ISWAP terrorist camps, militia groups, recovery of sophisticated arms and ammunition, cash as well as the deactivation of illegal refineries, oil bunkering sites among others.
He, however, called on members of the public to continue to work with the Nigerian military and its partners to ensure the challenges of insecurity is brought down to a minimum.
