After months of speculation and several meetings, Bayern Munich finally reached an agreement with Liverpool over the sale of Thiago Alcantara. The Spanish midfield maestro is set to cost The Reds £27 million.
Earlier in the year, the 29-year-old rejected a new contract from the Bavarians to remain in Germany. He had one year left on his contract and the 2019/20 Champions League winners were adamant on letting him go only by their valuation.
The energetic box to box midfielder will now sign a 4-year contract with the 2019/20 Premier League winners. He will be a great addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad which currently lacks dynamism and depth in their midfield.
