The embattled former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Obadiah Mailafia, has for the third time in two months honoured an invitation by the Department of State Services, DSS.
The 2019 presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, arrived at the DSS Headquarters in Jos accompanied by his wife and a team of lawyers.
It’s the third time Mailafiya will be invited by the DSS.
The latest invitation came after Mailafiya declined a similar invitation by the Police Force Headquarters before heading for the court.
Speaking to journalists, Mailafiya said he has no clue why he was being invited for the 3rd time.
After four hours of grilling by the DSS, Mailafia regained his freedom stressing that he remains the voice of the voiceless.
Dr. Mailafiya fell on the radar of Nigeria’s security operatives after a radio interview where he alleged that a serving Northern Governor is a Commander of the Boko Haram terrorist group.
