One of the most explosive playoff games took place between the Boston Celtics and the Toronto Raptors in their game 6. Kyle Lowry was the clutch for the Raptors as he registered 33 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
The match went into overtime as it was tightly contested. However, the Raptors were able to overcome the prowess of Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker with their tight defensive play and efficient ball sharing.
Norman Powell, Serge Ibaka and Matt Thomas racked up 38 points for the Raptors bench compared to the 16 points of the Celtics bench. The series between the Celtics and Raptors will now go down to the wire in Game 7.
Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers took total control of game 4 in the series against the Nuggets. The 2019 MVP registered 30 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists.
The Nuggets’ over-reliance on Nikola Jokic was quite evident. The Serbian was benched for the 1st quarter and the Nuggets ended the quarter 14 points behind the Clippers. They fought back in the 2nd quarter but could not sustain the momentum in the 3rd and 4th quarter.
The next playoff game features the Houston Rockets against the Los Angeles Lakers in game 4. The Lakers currently lead the series 2-1.
James Harden and Russel Westbrook would be desperate to help the Rockets tie the series while Lebron and Anthony Davies will aim at extending their lead.
