Popular song Jerusalema hits number one on Shazam and has also been recognized as the most downloaded song in the world.
The song was produced by South African artist and record producer Master KG featuring Nomcebo Zikode.
Master KG released ‘JERUSALEM’ in 2019 and the song according to him was supposed to be a gospel song, but it was appreciated all over and quickly became a global phenomenon, even earning a remix from the African giant Burna Boy
The #jerusalemachallenge was later invented and people, celebrities, and the minister of finance Tito Mboweni joined in on the action.
