The Professional Footballers’ Association in England today released a list of their nominees for best player of the 2019/20 Premier League season. The six players ply their trade between Liverpool and Manchester City.
Liverpool being the 2019/20 EPL Champions, they have players who will be recognized for their amazing exploits. The nominees are Kevin De Bruyne, Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk.
The women’s category was also dominated by the top two teams in the Women’s Super League, Chelsea and Arsenal. The nominees are Kim Little, Sophie Ingle, Beth England, Ji So-Yun, Guro Reiten and Vivianne Miedema.
The players alongside members of the trade union will then decide who the recipients of the award will be. The winners will be announced on the 8th of September 2020.
