In a recent interview before the UEFA Nations League game between Wales and Finland, Gareth Bale expressed his desire to move back to the English Premier League. However, the Welshman stated that Madrid makes things difficult concerning his exit.

In January 2020, a move to Chinese side Jiangsu Suning was blocked by Madrid and Bale had to remain with the Spanish giants. The fall out between Real Madrid coach Zidane and Bale has been well documented over the last three years.

The former Spurs winger has since made it clear that he prioritizes International football with Wales and playing golf over his duties at Real Madrid. He has also lost his place in the first team and has failed to impress the Madrid fans.

The 31-year-old now has another opportunity to leave the Spanish capital in the current transfer window. Recent reports suggest that Madrid might be willing to offload Bale on a free transfer.

However, where would the 4-time Champions League winner look to ply his trade next?
