Uganda’s President, Museveni declares Public Holiday to pray against COVID-19!

Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni has declared a national day of prayer in the country after a dramatic rise in COVID-19 cases for this coming Saturday.

Uganda recorded its highest single day infection toll of 308 on Saturday the 29th of August, 2020 and thus a call for all Ugandans to call on God to delievr the country from the pandemic has been scheduled. The East African country has recorded 2,679 total cases with 28 fatalities.

The president disclosed that he was approached by someone with a vision from God to organise the prayers on his Twitter page. read below
