The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has expressed its readiness to conduct the Plateau state Southern Senatorial district by-elections.
The Plateau state resident electoral commissioner Halilu Pai, made this known during a stakeholders meeting in Jos, the plateau state capital, saying that the polls slated for October the thirty-first will be conducted in line with laid down Covid 19 prevention protocols.
Pai says INEC will improve on its conduct of the recent Nasarawa state bye elections where voters were able to follow the conduct of the polls via a dedicated INEC website.
