The Federal government has been tasked to decentralize the ongoing presidential amnesty programme to accommodate all states in the Niger delta region.
This was as security agency Nextier Security, Peace and Development limited, presented its report on the program, which is an assessment of the challenges being faced by the program’s implementation.
The Deputy chairman of the house committee on the Niger delta affairs Honourable Henry Nwawuba while launching the report, says the report calls for a comprehensive stakeholder’s discussion to prevent the region from going into crisis.
