Adamawa State sets aside ₦3 Billion to promote Primary Educational Sector

Adamawa State to revamp education sector

The Universal Basic Education Board in Adamawa State says it has set aside three Billion Naira for the upgrade and transformation of the primary educational sector in the state.

The Chairman of the Board Dr Salihi Ateequ says it has set aside almost two billion Naira plus an additional counterpart funding from the state government to carry out reforms in the sector.

Dr Ateequ while speaking to newsmen in Yola the Adamawa state capital says the UBE has undergone transformational changes which will enable it to improve service delivery with a focus on the welfare of primary school teachers.

He assured that the UBE will change the face of basic education in Adamawa state.
