The Global Center for media and Humanitarian Empowerment has called on the federal government to probe the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and social development.
The centre while speaking to newsmen in Jos the Plateau state capital, called on the government to more in protecting the lives of aid workers, saying Nigeria is unfortunately among the notorious list of countries known for being unsafe for health workers.
The convener of the group Charles Ejoh says the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs has also failed those in dire need of aid as it has been unable to justify billions budgeted by government.
Ejoh wants the Minister Sadiya Farouq probed and called to account.
