Kansas City set to host fans when NFL kicks off!

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced that they have agreed to allow fans inside Arrowhead stadium when the 2020 National Football League NFL season kicks off.

They said Supporters of about 22 percent capacity, will be allowed into the stadium with strict health protocols, as they will wear face masks and will be separated in groups inside the stadium.

They further said the plans were made after discussing with the NFL as well as Quinton Lucas, Kansas City mayor.

The Chiefs, who won their first Super Bowl in 50 years in February, will kick off their campaign against the Houston Texans on Thursday, September 10.

However, following Chief’s announcement, the Chicago Bears said the Soldier Field will remain closed to supporters when play resumes.

The Bear officials in a statement said after discussing with health officials, they decided that it was not the right time to welcome fans back to the stadium.

Chiefs offensive lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif opted out of the upcoming season in July becoming the first player to opt-out as a result of the global pandemic.
