It’s a gloomy time for the United States President, Donald Trump who has yesterday lost his brother, aged 71, to an undisclosed illness at a hospital in New York.
Robert Trump, three years younger than Donald was a Real Estate Developer and Business Executive and had been hospitalized for close to a week earlier in June, at the Mount Sinai hospital.
Trump in a statement announced the loss which reads in part below
“It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace,” Trump said in a statement.

The cause of death was not revealed. Trump told reporters on Friday (August 14) that his brother was “having a hard time” with an undisclosed illness.
Robert Trump who before his demise fought hard against his niece, Mary Trump, releasing the book, “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” but eventually lost a suit which he claimed would violate a confidentiality agreement tied to the estate of his father Fred Trump Sr, who died in 1999.
