Trent Alexander-Arnold wins Premier League Young Player of the Season

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been confirmed as the 2019/20 Premier League Young Player of the Season. The Liverpool defender, who has also been nominated for the Player of the Year, was vocal in Liverpool’s tremendous season, winning the premier league for the first time in 30 years.

He also winning the club world cup, and the super cup, recording 13 assists behind Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, making a total of 14 clean sheets and ending the season with four goals.

The 21-year-old defender beat Manchester United trio Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial, and Marcus Rashford, for the Young Player award along with Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount, and Aston villa’s Jack Grealish for helping Villa to a Premier League survival, as well as on-loan Manchester United’s goalkeeper Dean Henderson, at Sheffield United
