Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has in a meeting with Kaduna State Council of Chiefs, held at the Lugard Hall, Kaduna, on Tuesday, 4th August discussed progress on curbing the COVID-19 pandemic and also efforts to stop the scourge of killings within the state.
El-Rufai used the opportunity to encourage the traditional leaders to lend a helping hand by encouraging individuals to take personal responsibility especially during the eased lockdown period which is the sustainable way to prevent lasting economic consequences for individuals and their families.
He also urges the Rulers to help identify rebels within the community who are privy and participatory to the unjust and incessant killings of the Southern Kaduna committee.
The state governor who expressed deep regret over the loss of lives, commiserate with families of the deceased while committing to ensure that a lasting solution is found to stop the killings within the state.
