The South-West Chairman of NUPENG, Tayo Aboyeji has affirmed that the planned strike by the Petroleum Tanker Drivers in Lagos would commence today as planned after previous communications ended without a resolution.
According to him, the bone of contention has not been addressed in the four-hour meeting with the officials on Sunday.
He maintained that until their requests which include extortion and harassment of their members by security agents, using tasers on the drivers and molestation and assault of drivers on Lagos Roads the strike will ensue as planned which willbegin by Midnight on Monday.
