Italian Serie A side S.S Lazio are currently leading the race to sign the 34-year old David Silva.
The Spanish magician will become a free agent once Manchester City’s Champions League campaign comes to an end.
The left-footed playmaker has spent 10 years with the City Blues and has been a major proponent of their title-winning era. He is a recipient of 4 Premier League titles, 2 FA Cups and 5 League cups.
Also, the Valencia youth product was a member of the Spanish football golden generation which won the UEFA Euro 2008 championship, 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2012 UEFA Euro Championship.
Silva is now on the verge of moving onto another phase in his career and Italy is the preferred destination.
In a recent interview, Silva’s father mentioned that his son favours a move to Lazio and feels that he can play until he is 40 years old.
Will David Silva make the move to Lazio? Only time would tell.
