Plateau State leads 18 others including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, as Nigeria records 443 new Coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Nigeria is now 45.687.
The 19 states with new infections are Plateau-103; Lagos-70; FCT-60; Ondo-35; Edo and Rivers-27 each. Kaduna has 20 new Coronavirus cases; Osun-19; Borno-18; Oyo-18; Kwara-11; Adamawa-9; Nasarawa-7; Gombe-6; Bayelsa and Imo-4 each; Bauchi and Ogun-2 each; Kano-1
The figures released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, show that 207 Coronavirus patients recovered from the infection with the total number of successfully treated cases now 32,637.
There are six new Covid-19 fatalities reported in Nigeria with the national death toll now 936 since index case on February 27.
