Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu Rex popularly known as Burna Boy is fired up for his 5th studio album titled Twice as tall and with each song title leaving you anticipating the album to drop, one can only expect the best from Burna boy who has proved himself to be one of the greats time and again.
Burna boy made history In 2019 when he was billed to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. He won four awards at the Soundcity MVP Awards Festival, including African Artiste of the Year, Listener’s Choice and Best Male MVP.
On 24 June 2019, Burna Boy won Best International Act at the 2019 BET Awards. Burna Boy who is a Grammy nominee also took home the award of Best International Act at the 2020 BET Awards.
Asides all his wins, Burna boy is popular for his controversies, but this time his standing Twice as tall with a 15 track 5th studio album done and dusted with amazing collaborations with notable international arts such as Youssou Ndour a Senegalese singer, songwriter, composer, occasional actor, businessman, and politician one can only imagine what this song would sound like.
As if that isn’t mind-blowing enough, he has a song title Naughty by Nature which features American hip hop trio from East Orange, New Jersey consisting of Treach, Vin Rock, and DJ Kay Gee if the legendary Naughty by nature.
The 11th song on the yet to be released album features Sauti Sol a Kenyan afro-pop band with a nice transition into Track 12 ” monsters you made” which features British rock band Cold Play.
