The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has reported 354 new Covid-19 infections in 17 states including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 45,244.
The 354 new Covid-19 cases are recorded in FCT-78; Lagos-76; Kaduna-23; Ebonyi-19; Oyo-18; Nasarawa and Rivers-17 each; Delta-16; Kwara-15.
Others include Akwa Ibom-13; Edo and Ogun-12 each; Plateau-11; Kano-9; Bauchi, Borno and Ekiti-6 each.
Meanwhile, 265 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria with the total number of successfully treated cases in the country now 32,430.
In the last 24 hours, Nigeria has recorded three new Covid-19 fatalities as the national death toll rises to 930.
