Chelsea seems to be losing at all ends as all reports suggest that Willian rejected a two-year deal offered by Chelsea on the 3rd of August,2020. The player and the club have failed to reach an agreement over his contract situation over the last seven months.
Willian wants a year three contract if he is to remain at Stamford Bridge but the club is not willing to commit to the player. The Brazilian winger has attracted interest from Barcelona and Arsenal in recent days.
Barcelona made an offer for the 31-year-old during the January transfer window but could not match the valuation of Chelsea for his services. Arsenal has now offered the Brazil international a three-year contract and he is in talks with the club.
However, Willian will remain a Chelsea player till their Champions League campaign officially comes to an end. The Blues travel to Germany to face the Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in their second leg round of 16 match.
