Following unrest and launched attacks in Southern Kaduna which has led to the death and loss of properties, police vow to bring all criminals and perpetrators to book.
The State’s Commissioner of Police, CP M. U. Muri confirmed as he warned those bringing lawlessness and disrupting the peace of the state to desist.
According to State Police Public Relations Officer, the commissioner of police have stationed police to Kauru Local Government Areas of Kaduna State, Kajuru, Zango Kataf, and Kaura. These are the areas most affected by the unrest.
CP M. U. Muri also urged commanders and DPOs in the most affected areas to use the stationed security officers to enforce the imperative 24 hours curfew to ensure the lives and properties of residents are well protected.
He offered his heartfelt condolences to all those who have lost family members and loved ones to the unrest and killings. While assuring that peace would be restored once again to the state.
He also urged residents to abide by the laid down rules in order to work with the security agency to restore peace to the State. Killings and unrest in the State according to Governor Mallam Nasir el-Rufai is a result of the ‘’cycle of attacks, revenge, and reprisals.”
