After the recent gruesome killings and destruction of properties in Southern Kaduna in the Gora Gan village of Zango-Kataf local government area of Kaduna State, which left no less than 10 people dead. While 21 people in the Kaura Local Government suffered the same fate.
Women in the community have come out in their numbers to protest many wearing black while others stripped bare to their underwear to lament the killings.
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has condemned in very strong terms the incessant killings and wanton destruction of properties in various communities in Southern Kaduna, Kaduna state and some other parts of the country charging the Police and other law enforcement agencies to sit up and stop the blame game so as to bring the perpetrators to book.
The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Tony Ojukwu Esq has also reacted and charged the Police and other security agencies to stop trading blames and protect the lives and properties of citizens within the country.
