West Ham United have announced the permanent signing of Czech Republic midfielder, Tomas Soucek, on a four-year deal.
Soucek joined the Hammers on an initial loan deal from Slavia Prague.
However, the defensive midfielder has impressed since the restart of the league and has contributed with three crucial goals which have helped West Ham ensure their safety in the top flight of English football.
Soucek is a versatile player who can operate as a center-back, defensive midfielder, and central midfielder.
He has also proven to be efficient in the air.
The 25-year-old reads the game very well and can break up the opposition gameplay. He will be pivotal to West Ham’s success in the future.
