A businessman based in Maiduguri, Mr. Isaac Akinkumi, has been kidnapped by a group of gunmen.
Akinkumi was reportedly kidnapped by the gunmen who are suspected to be bandits on Thursday.
The Benue State Police spokesperson, Kate Anene, confirmed the kidnap of the businessman.
She disclosed that the police have launched an investigation into the situation.
Akinkumi is the Managing Director of Tito group of companies.
