Right after admission and touting evidence of proof at the Public Hearing of the NDDC probe, NDDC Affairs minister, Godswill Akpabio says he never said lawmakers were the beneficiaries of contracts at the NDDC.
This comes as a shock to many as he was clearly caught on video uttering the same sentences. This change of heart comes after the Speaker of the House, Femi Gbajabiamila instructed a legislative perjury suit against the said minister for defaulting on the 48 hours time frame to come up with a list of the stated lawmakers.
He reportedly sent in a letter which was acknowledged by the House Speaker which would now be referred to the Committee of Ethics and Privileges to decipher the minister’s utterances.
