Super Eagles Striker, Victor Osimhen, is on the verge of completing a €60 million to Napoli from Lille.
The 21-year-old will make a much-anticipated move to the city of Naples, which will make him the most expensive Nigerian and African footballer in the history of the game.
The former Wolfsburg prodigy had a great breakout season with Lille where he was brought to replace a Nicolas Pepe who departed for Arsenal last summer. Osimhen registered 18 goals and 6 assists in 38 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit.
Osimhen is set to sign a five-year contract, which will see him remain at the San Paolo Stadium till 2025.
Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, and the club manager, Gennaro Gattuso, have eagerly sought after the enigmatic striker.
He is set to light the Italian Serie A ablaze.
