The United States Justice Department has accused a group of Chinese hackers of trying to steal the COVID-19 vaccine being developed by the United States for the Chinese government.
On Tuesday, Li Xiaoyu and Dong Jiazhi, the Chinese nationals were labeled as suspects by the Justice Department as threats who sometimes worked for China’s spy service.
The Justice Department also revealed that Li and Dong had previously stolen information about Chinese intelligence targets such as; human rights activists.
Just last week Thursday, the United States government along with the Canadian and the U.K. government accused the Russian government of attempting to steal COVID-19 vaccine research data.
