Deployment of troops beyond Egypt borders is probable as the Egyptian parliament agreed to it on Monday.

This came after the nation’s President, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, spoke on possible military operations in Libya.

In a statement released by the parliament of the northeast African country, lawmakers all agreed to the deployment of members of the Egyptian armed forces outside the borders to defend the nation’s security.

The lawmakers voted on Monday in a closed session following discussions on possible threats since Egypt shared bored with Libya a war-ridden country.

Egypt President made known that advances by forces backing the western Libyan-based Government of National Accord on Sirte may result in military intervention by the northeast country.
