Lagos remains the epic center of the Covid-19 outbreak in Nigeria with 13, 626 cases of infection.

Twenty-nine more patients have tested negative and have been discharged as confirmed by the state’s government. Five foreigners, seven females, and 22 males.

The State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, advised Lagosians to remain vigilant, wear masks in the public area, observe physical distancing, and follow proper health guidelines.

Oyo State disclosed a calendar for the resumption of schools. Schools have been shut with students confined to their homes since the outbreak and mount in cases of the virus.

On Tuesday, Oyo State  Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology made known the calendar has been approved by Oyo State’s executive council.

Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye stated Third Term 2019/2020 session has been nullified. Students’ promotion will rely solely on their first two terms.

Students in final classes Pry 6, JSS 3, and SSS 3 will go on Holiday from Thursday, July 30, to resume back for their exams as stipulated on the timetable.

Ogun State Government announced no new infection was recorded in the state on Monday, July 20.

Thirty-six patients were also recently discharged from Isolation centers. As of Tuesday, July 21, 886 patients have recovered from the 1,174 confirmed cases in the state.

According to the State Government, this is a process in the battle against the disease.

Abia with 526 total number of infections disclosed community testing for the pandemic disease or start in 17 Local Government Areas in the State.

This according to the State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, is to curb community infection in the state.
