Indian women’s cricket team has pulled out of their bilateral tour to England, as a result of COVID-19, which has restricted the team from taking part in any training, ahead of the tour.

The women were due to play England in June and July in a 3ODIs and T2OIs, but the tour was postponed indefinitely.

The ECB England and wales cricket board in a statement said, as a result of the tour’s cancellation, the board, is now in talks BCCI and Cricket South Africa CSA to host a tri-series in September.

However, touring in India is almost impossible, as the coronavirus in the country rises daily.

It has been suggested that England will propose an extended series with South Africa since India has confirmed that they will not take part in the series.

India is one of the most affected countries in the world, with more than one million coronavirus cases and 28, 000 deaths.
