The Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria RIFAN in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN has distributed farm inputs and working implements to about fifteen thousand seven hundred and sixty-five farmers in Adamawa State.
The initiative which was done in Yola the Adamawa state capital, is expected to help farmers improve their farm yields in the 2020 farming season.
Some of the farmers while commending the gesture of goodwill by both RIFAN and the CBN also appealed to both organizations to always ensure their donations come in time to farmers ahead of the planting season.
