President Muhammadu Buhari has in a meeting with the leadership of the Senate and House of Representatives, Senator Ahmed Lawan and Femi Gbajabiamila elaborated on a number of isssues but specifically warned that all ministers and head of departments or agencies should conduct themselves with utmost respect for the National Assembly.
According to a Press statement released by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, the President and Leaders of the National Assembly established hat the Executive and Legislative arms of Government are essential partners in the fulfillment of their goals for the Nigerian Citizens.
This development stems from the heels of the news of Ag MD Keme Pondei walking out on the members of Representatives on allegations relating to financial Infractions at the NDDC yesterday.
According to Pondei, the Chairman of the committee is an interested party since he has been accused previously indicted for soliciting for funds from the commission in the past of which he too has defended himself through the media.
