Internazionale Milano has expressed their desire to retain the services of Chilean international, Alexis Sanchez. The Manchester United player joined Inter on loan as Antonio Conte requested for his services.
Sanchez had a controversial debut as he scored a goal and was sent off. Due to injuries sustained, he has struggled to secure first-team football with Inter. The winger has struggled to find the form that made him sought after by Europe’s top teams while he was at Arsenal.
However, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Soljskaer has expressed his desire to see Sanchez return to United next season. However, due to the global pandemic, football activities were put on hold which means that the campaigns were put on hold.
A restart date has been set for the return of the Serie A and Inter would want to extend the loan deal of the 31-year-old at least till the end of the season. It has been reported United and Inter are currently in talks over the future of the player.
