The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has revealed its intention to transform its skill acquisition centre in the Lafiyawo community, Gombe State, into a school.
The new school will reportedly be used by both corp members and the youths in the region.
Brig. General Shuiabu Ibrahim, the Director-General of the NYSC, disclosed this on Thursday while visiting the acquisition centre that was damaged by a windstorm.
General Ibrahim said that skill acquisition was very important for youths in the country and it will help combat unemployment.
