Moscow, the capital of Russia, has been the hotspot area of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

According to Moscow’s health department, the city has a 1,561 death poll contrary to the 639 deaths initially announced.

Post Mortem examination showed that some patients who tested negative actually died from the virus.

What seemed like they died from other causes, the virus played the role of a ‘catalyst’ all along reporter in the city stated that the official numbers were inaccurate and low.

However, the Russian government associated the low numbers to be a result of the nation’s mass testing.

Journalists flood the street of Moscow in protest after their colleague was sentenced to a 15-day jail term.

They were all nabbed by the police. The Journalists accused police of hiding behind the outbreak to clampdown on activists.

Russia has the third-highest recorded cases of the pandemic disease in the world after the United States and Brazil, with about 380,000 cases and 4,412 death poll.
