Eighteen COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospital in Edo State.
This was confirmed yesterday by Godwin Obaseki, the State’s Governor via his Twitter page.
We have discharged 18 patients who have tested negative for #COVID19 from our isolation centres. This brings the total number of discharged persons to 57.

I implore all residents to take advantage of the screening centres across the 18 LGAs to know their status.

The State now has 57 discharged patients and 191 confirmed cases of the virus.
Nigeria has the most number of cases in West Africa with 7839 cases. The country has 2263 recovered patients with its death poll at 226.
