The total number of successfully treated and discharged COVID-19 patients in Nigeria is now 2,007. This follows the discharge of 10 more patients across the country.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, confirmed 245 new infections in 22 states bringing the total number of cases to 7,261.
The 245 new cases of COVID-19 include 131 in Lagos, 16 in Jigawa, 13 – Ogun, 12 in Borno, nine in Kaduna, Oyo, Rivers, and Ebonyi States.

Others are eight in Kano, seven in Kwara, five in Katsina, three each in Akwa Ibom and Sokoto, two each in Bauchi and Yobe, one each in Anambra, Gombe, Niger, Ondo, Plateau, Federal Capital Territory, and Bayelsa.
The data also shows that 10 new deaths were recorded in the country in the last 24 hours bringing the death toll to 221.
