According to the reports from the Nigerian Defence Headquarter, Air Tax Force of Corporation, Lafiya Dole (OPLD), destroyed Boko Haram jihadists logistic base in Njimia, on the outskirts of the Sambisa forest, Borno state on Monday 18th of May.
Major General John Enenche, the Co-ordinator Defence Media Operation announced this progress in Abuja on Tuesday 19th of May.
John Enenche said that the assault was successful as a result of credible information and Intelligence.
Enenche mentioned that the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission led to the identification of the terrorist settlement.
He said that the Air Force scored accurate hits on their target with bombs causing significant damage in the Boko Haram settlements.
