Yobe’s longest serving Chief Judge, Garba Nabaruma passes away

Garba Nabaruma, Yobe state Chief Judge passed away this morning, Tuesday, 19th of May, after suffering through a long lasting illness.

According to reports, Garba Nabaruma has been sick for some time before being transferred to National Hospital in Abuja for advanced treatment for his illness.

Garba Nabaruma has been Yobe state’s longest-serving chief judge. He was sworn into office in 2011.

In his 9 years in service, Nabaruma was said to be a stabilizing factor in the Judiciary.
