The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 226 new Coronavirus infections in 16 states with the total number of cases in the country now 6,401.
The 226 new cases are 131 in Lagos, 25 in Ogun, 15 in Plateau, 11 in Edo, seven in Kaduna, six in Oyo, and five each in the Federal Capital Territory and Adamawa.

Jigawa, Ebonyi, and Borno have four new cases each, Nasarawa – three, Bauchi and Gombe- two each with one each in Enugu and Bayelsa.
A total of 90 Coronavirus patients have been discharged across the country with one death in the last 24 hours. This brings to 1,734 the total number of successfully treated cases with the death toll now 192.
