Ebonyi State government has said that four new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the state.
The State Governor, David Umahi, confirmed this during his weekly broadcast to update the people on the fight against the spread of the virus in the state.
Governor Umahi called on Nigerians to cooperate with the government at all levels in the fight against the dreaded disease.
The Governor noted that the state government had pardoned COVID-19 law offenders but warned that the government will not allow anyone to take the law into their hands.
On the poverty index of the state, the Governor noted that his administration was doing everything possible to secure the state against poverty.
Governor Umahi commended the security agents and the people of the state for their support in the fight against COVID-19 in the state.
