Bauchi state government has relaxed the partial lockdown in the state.
This is following the successes recorded so far in the fight against COVID-19 in the state.
Governor Bala Mohammed, who announced the lift, said the development will take effect from May 21.
Though the lockdown has been eased, the people were advised to ensure full compliance with safety measures put in place.
The government, however, has ordered the immediate decontamination of high-risk areas of COVID-19 in the state.
The easing of the lockdown will be reviewed in two weeks, based on the compliance with the stipulated guidelines.
