Taraba State Government has eased the partial lockdown imposed on the State to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The State’s Deputy Governor, Haruna Manu, said the ban on religious gatherings in the state has also been lifted.
He, however, charged citizens to take responsibility in the battle against COVID-19.
Manu also noted that all active COVID-19 cases in the state have been discharged from the state’s treatment centre.
He also cautioned citizens not to let their guards down on taking precautionary measures against the spread of the virus.
The Deputy Governor noted that the ban on interstate travel still holds.
He called for increased surveillance at the state’s borders with Cameroon.
