The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 193 new Coronavirus infections in the country bringing the total to 5,162.
The 193 new infections are reported in 15 of the 35 states including the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, that are affected by the virus.

The 193 new infections include 58 – Lagos, 46 – Kano, 35 -Jigawa, 12 -Yobe, nine – FCT, seven – Ogun, five each in Plateau and Gombe, four – Imo, three each in Edo, Kwara, and Borno with one each in Bauchi, Nasarawa, and Ondo.
Meanwhile, the country has a total of 1,180 patients discharged from various treatment centres. The death toll is now 167 following three new deaths in the last 24 hours.
