The Republic of China puts new measures in place as coronavirus threatens another phase of spread. On Thursday, 14 May, China government announced plans to intensify Coronavirus testing and screening. This was made known by Song Shuli a National Health Commission spokeswoman.
There has been a bounce-back of COVID-19 in China where the pandemic disease first broke out in Wuhan on 31 December 2019. Wuhan Municipal Health Commission had reported cluster cases of pneumonia.
The pandemic disease killed over 4,600 people in China Mainland. However, the new number of cases recorded daily has significantly dropped from February’s numbers.
On May 10, China recorded a new case of the pandemic disease in Wuhan which makes it the first case since Friday, April 3.
